Available frequencies and channels
The camcorder’s Wi-Fi functions operate in a predetermined range of frequencies and channels. Note that
not all channels may be available for a direct Camera Access Point connection with Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
Additionally, the IEEE802.11a protocol (5 GHz frequency band) is not
available for all models. Check the identification label on the bottom of
your camcorder. If the camcorder ID is “ID0044” and the label contains
the text “2.4 GHz only”, the camcorder can operate only in the 2.4 GHz
frequency band.
