To adjust contrast:

Press to save the settings.

To setthe scanning resolution:

Select Color or B&W

The default is B&W Standard. If you are working with a color document and

want to fax in color, you must specify so.

To change resolution for a color document, press the button.

Select resolution

Press to select one of the following resolutions.

If in Black & White mode you can select:

BB&&WW SSTTAANNDDAARRDD

for most text-only documents.

BB&&WW FFIINNEE

for fine-print documents.

BB&&WW PPHHOOTTOO

for documents that contain photos.

If in Color Mode, you can select:

CCOOLLOORR SSTTAANNDDAARRDD

for most text-only documents.

CCOOLLOORR FFIINNEE

for fine-print documents.

Press to save the settings.
