<Problem> • The carriage does not move to the replacement

position even when the cartridge cover is opened.

<Cause> The cartridge replacement termination warning is

issued, faulty cartridge cover sensor, faulty sensor

board, faulty control board, faulty sensor cable, faulty

carriage, faulty carriage motor.

Turn on the power and

close the cartridge cover,

and open it again.

Check conduction of
