 Windows XP, Windows 2000 IPP Connection

Start the Add New Printer Wizard.

 On the desktop, click the Start button, point to Settings, then

click Printers.

 Double-click the Add Printer icon.

Set the URL for the printer.

 Click the Next button.

 When the screen opens to select the printer connection, select

“Network” then click the Next button.

 When the printer detection screen opens, select “Connect to a

printer on the Internet or on your intranet”, then enter the URL

in the URL text box. When you change the URL of the IPP for

the printer setting, enter the modified URL.
