If the edges of the envelope are

inflated or are curling up, place the

envelope on a desk and with a pen press

down on it moving from the center toward

the edges of the envelope.

• Ensure that no curl or puff exceeds ! / 8 in. (3 mm).

4 Place the stack of envelopes (print side up)

in the multi-purpose tray q. Pinch the

paper guide A and adjust to the width of

the stack w.

• Feed the left side of the envelope (return address

portion) into the multi-purpose tray first.

IMPORTANT

• Make sure the stack does not exceed the paper

limit mark B or tab. Otherwise a paper jam may

occur.

5 Replace the tray cover over the

multi-purpose tray.
