Assignable Buttons
Using an Assignable Button
After you assign a function to one of the buttons, press the button to activate the function. For some functions,
an options menu may appear. In such case, select the desired option and then press SET.
Assignable Functions
Functions can be set separately in mode and mode. Refer to the following table for assignable
functions and available modes.
* Function can be used only by assigning it to a button.

[Img Stab.] Turns the selected image stabilization method (Dynamic IS or Standard IS) on/off. N – 52
[Powered IS] Turns Powered IS on/off. N – 52
[Focus Limit] Turns the focus limit on/off. N – 51
[Face AF] Toggles the autofocusing between [Face Pri.], [Face Only] and [Off]. N – 50
[Select Face] Selects the main subject when using [Face AF] to focus on subjects’ faces. N – 50
[Backlight] Turns the backlight light metering option on/off. N – 58
[Spotlight] Turns the spotlight light metering option on/off. N – 58
[Tele-converter] Activates the digital tele-converter in the following sequence: 1.5x J 3x J 6x J Off N – 143
[Peaking] Turns peaking on/off. N – 48
[Zebra] Turns zebra patterns on/off. N – 68
[WFM (LCD)]
Activates video scopes in the following sequence:

[TL-H58] Sets the [l Camera Setup] [Conversion Lens] setting to [TL-H58] or [Off]. N – 66

[Color Bars] Turns color bars on/off. N – 80
[IR Monochrome] Switches between white and green when the camcorder is in Infrared mode. N – 90
[IR Light]
Turns the infrared light on/off when [l Camera Setup] [Infrared] [Light] is set
to [Toggle].

[Markers] Turns onscreen markers on/off. N – 67
[LCD Setup] Opens the [LCD Setup] submenu. N N 30
